White Sox Update: Tim Anderson Interview, Media Day, Jimenez

Today marked media day for the White Sox and their third day of full team workouts. The news cycle was highlighted by a Tim Anderson interview with Chuck Garfien about what happened last year, though Eloy Jimenez’s evaluation of the offseason also made its rounds.

Eloy Jimenez Speaks to the Media

Eloy Jiménez clearly wants to stick in the outfield, and quickness on defense would seem like the main benefit of his estimated 25-30 pounds of offseason weight loss. But he also said his swing has less effort into it now at his current size.
