White Sox Farm Report: August 20, 2025

Rain plagued Sox affiliates for the second night in a row Wednesday. This time, the Barons were postponed.

Amid the games that did happen, Christian Oppor hit 101 on the radar gun during a seven strikeout showing, Andre Lipcius and Blake Sabol homered to power the Knights to victory, and Jeral Perez and Samuel Zavala each logged key hits in a Dash win.

All this and more in today’s minor league recap!

Triple-A Charlotte Knights (56-65)

The Knights split their doubleheader against the Norfolk Tides. Charlotte jumped out to a 3-0 lead after Jacob Amaya‘s homer in the fourth, but was unable to hang on. The Knights again stormed out to an early lead in game two en route to a 6-1 win. Andre Lipcius and Blake Sabol each went deep in the win before Zach Franklin struck out the side in the seventh to seal the victory.

The Dash plated four runs in the eighth to take down the Wilmington Blue Rocks 6-3. Jeral Perez and Samuel Zavala each had extra-base hits in the come-from-behind win. On the mound, Christian Oppor dialed it up to 101 during his seven-strikeout performance.
