Last week, several White Sox players and prospects finished up a hitter’s minicamp at Camelback Ranch in Glendale, Arizona. Many of the participants are heading to Chicago for Sox Fest this upcoming weekend. The calendar will soon turn to February, which means Spring Training is just around the corner.
To get you thinking warm thoughts, this week’s edition of Moncada Mondays looks back at 2017 Spring Training. Sox fans were eager to see what the top prospect in baseball at the time could bring to the team. Yoan showed off his power throughout February and March with swings like this:

Even though Spring Training performance is taken with a grain of salt, watching Moncada tear up the Cactus League was encouraging for the White Sox faithful during early stages of the rebuild.
