Two people were injured and three were arrested after a fight on a CTA bus outside of Guaranteed Rate Field on Friday morning, Chicago police and CTA revealed.

Police say a 35-year-old man was involved in a “verbal altercation” that turned physical with three people on a southbound No. 35 bus at 35th Street and South Wentworth Avenue. At some point, one of the individuals with whom he was fighting pulled out a sharp instrument, and stabbed the man just after 10:10 a.m. CT.

Chicago police, who responded to the area outside of Sox Park and placed a tourniquet on the man, say the stabbing victim was taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition. Meanwhile, one of the three suspects taken into custody was also transported to a nearby hospital for cuts to his hand.

Area 1 Detectives are still investigating as charges are pending on the individuals.
