Thursday was a busy day down on the farm. Both the Knights and Barons had doubleheaders, while the Dash played a 12-inning marathon.

Terrell Tatum stole four bases for the Dash, Tyler Schweitzer recorded a quality start for the Knights, and Ryan Galanie reached base five times for the Barons.

All this and more in today’s minor league recap!

Triple-A Charlotte Knights (25-29)

The Knights dropped both games of their doubleheader against the Buffalo Bisons.

Brooks Baldwin continued his torrid start with another home run, while Tyler Schweitzer posted his first AAA quality start. It wasn’t enough, however, as the Bisons stunned the Knights with a two-out rally in the bottom of the seventh to win in walk-off fashion.

Charlotte briefly led in game two before Buffalo chipped its way back. The Knights had only five hits in the loss, two each by Dominic Fletcher and Zach DeLoach. Newly-acquired outfielder Dru Baker made his Knights debut, going 0-for-2 with a walk and run scored.
