White Sox Farm Report: July 9, 2025

Sox affiliates went 5-1 Wednesday, with only a Cannon Ballers one-run loss preventing a perfect day.

Bryan Ramos slugged two homers in a Knights’ doubleheader sweep, Braden Montgomery went deep against his former organization, and Christian Oppor struck out ten to put an end to the Dash’ six-game skid.

Triple-A Charlotte Knights (45-43)

After suffering rainouts on Sunday and Tuesday, the Knights were finally back in action Wednesday. Charlotte exploded for 19 runs across a doubleheader sweep of the Memphis Redbirds. Bryan Ramos drove in seven on the day while homering in both games. Korey Lee, Andre Lipcius, and Jacob Amaya also went deep.

Double-A Birmingham Barons (45-38)

The Barons put a crooked number on the board in the eighth en route to their second-staight win over the South Divison-leading Biloxi Shuckers. Wilfred Veras homered for the second day in a row, while Shane Murphy cruised through seven innings of two-run ball.

High-A Winston Salem Dash (30-52)

Winston Salem put a stop to its six-game skid with a 5-2 win over the Greenville Drive. Braden Montgomery‘s two run shot provided a cushion for Christian Oppor, who struck out ten for the second-straight start. Every Dash hitter reached base in the victory.

Single-A Kannapolis Cannon Ballers (38-45)

Grant Umberger‘s third-straight quality start wasn’t enough for the Ballers; they fell to the Myrtle Beach Pelicans 3-2. Ryan Burrowes stole his 27th and 28th bases of the season in the loss, and Jorge Corona slugged his first home run as a member of the organization.

ACL White Sox (27-23)

ACL Sox pitching completely silenced the ACL Dodgers across the final six innings Wednesday, leading to a 3-1 Sox win. Jordany Chirinos punched out five over four innings.

DSL White Sox (11-14)

The DSL Sox enjoyed an off-day Wednesday. They’re back in action against the DSL Cubs Red on Thursday.
