White Sox Farm Report: July 10, 2025

Thursday offered the first full slate of games this week, and the Barons, Dash, and DSL Sox emerged victorious.

Alec Makarewicz and Christian Gonzalez each homered amid four-hit games, Hagen Smith turned in four innings of two-run ball, and Ryan Galanie logged his fourth-straight game with an extra-base hit.

Triple-A Charlotte Knights (45-44)

Charlotte suffered a blowout loss at the hands of the Memphis Redbirds. Jacob Amaya put the lone Knights’ run on the board with a solo home run in the eighth. Amaya has now gone deep in four of his last six games and owns a .500 on-base across his 68 AAA plate appearances this season.

Double-A Birmingham Barons (46-38)

The Barons won their third-straight game against the South Division-leading Biloxi Shuckers. Hagen Smith took the mound, spinning four innings of two-run ball while striking out a pair. Ryan Galanie put Birmingham ahead in the eighth with a double, and Zach Franklin nailed down his seventh save of the year.

High-A Winston Salem Dash (31-52)

Alec Makarewicz’s fourth-inning grand slam proved the difference in the Dash’ 9-5 win over the Greenville Drive. Makarewicz had himself a day, going 4-for-5 with a triple in addition to his homer.

Single-A Kannapolis Cannon Ballers (38-46)

The Ballers, playing as the Kannapolis Q’s, mustered only four hits in their loss to the Myrtle Beach Pelicans. Ryan Burrowes‘ double was the team’s lone extra-base hit. Nathan Archer stole his 18th bag of the year.

ACL White Sox (28-23)

In Arizona, the ACL Sox jumped on the ACL Guardians, plating five runs in the first four innings. Christian Gonzalez was perfect at the plate, going 4-for-4 with a homer. Gonzalez is riding a three-game hit streak to open his stateside career. Adrian Gil also went deep, and Noah Syndergaard held the Guardians to two runs over five innings.

DSL White Sox (12-14)

Frank Mieses notched two hits, including a triple, in the DSL Sox’ 5-3 win Thursday. The outfielder is now slashing .323/.439/.431 across 82 plate appearances this season. On the mound, Orlando Suarez spun four shutout innings while punching out three.
