However, some interesting news did occur. It appears that Jose Rodriguez (SS, 2B) was promoted to High-A Winston-Salem prior to action on Tuesday. Rodriguez had been having an excellent season in Kannapolis, hitting .283/.328/.450, and it appears he will get the chance to prove himself as a 20-year-old at the next level.
