White Sox Farm Report: August 12, 2025

The Knights and Barons each had big wins Tuesday, highlighting a busy day on the farm. Charlotte and Birmingham combined for 26 runs and 38 hits in their wins.

Tim Elko went deep twice to power the Knights to victory, Caden Connor led the way for Birmingham with a five-hit night, and George Wolkow notched an unorthodox RBI single for the Ballers.

Triple-A Charlotte Knights (55-59)

Tim Elko’s two homers led the Knights to a 13-6 blowout win over the Memphis Redbirds. Every Knight recorded a hit in the victory, with Elko, Vinny Capra, and Dru Baker each notching three. Jonathan Cannon made his first start since his recent demotion, lasting five innings while surrendering five runs on seven hits.

Double-A Birmingham Barons (66-43)

The Barons also experienced an offensive outburst Tuesday, putting up 13 runs on a season-high 21 hits. Caden Connor led the way with five hits, and every Birmingham starter reached base multiple times in the win. Tanner McDougal, Tyler Schweitzer, and Tommy Vail combined to keep the Pensacola Blue Wahoos at bay, surrendering just a pair of runs as a group.

High-A Winston-Salem Dash (42-65)

Winston Salem was shut down by the Asheville Tourists 4-1 Tuesday. The Dash managed only four hits in the loss, including triples by Alec Makarewicz and Drake Logan.

Single-A Kannapolis Cannon Ballers (52-57)

The Ballers jumped out to a 4-1 lead, but were unable to hang on against the Augusta GreenJackets. George Wolkow recorded a one-handed RBI single that needs to be seen to believed in the loss. Justin Sinibaldi punched out six over four innings of work.

DSL White Sox (25-25)

The DSL Sox won 5-4 over the DSL Cubs Blue via a Jefrank Silva walk-off single. Osniel Castillo was a perfect 3-for-3 from the leadoff spot, and Jose Mendoza recorded two hits to raise his average to .355 this season across 93 at bats.
