Tim Anderson exits Monday’s game early with left knee soreness

by Jordan Lazowski

The defense in Monday afternoon’s game has been pretty suspect, and Tim Anderson looks to have become an unfortunate victim of it.

The White Sox announced that Tim Anderson left Monday’s game against the Twins early due to left knee soreness, likely occurring during the fourth inning.

In the play shown above, Anderson was turned around on a throw from Elvis Andrus on what looked to be a routine double play grounder. However, Hanser Alberto hesitated before making the throw, and Elvis Andrus in turned tried to catch the runner in between the bases. Anderson was shaken up but would remain in the game at the time before being removed a few innings later.

As the team provides more updates, we will update this article. Anderson was 0-for-3 in the game before being removed.
