While the White Sox main affiliates were off last night, the Arizona Complex League and Dominican Summer league were both in action!
Jared Kelley threw his best game of the year, Jose Rodriguez continues to show signs of improvement, and Oscar Colas returned to game action.
Dylan Cease was masterful once again, and the offense launched a couple of homers in the series clinching 4-1 victory against the Athletics.
While runs came at a premium today, Gavin Sheets stole the show and gave the White Sox the chance to win today’s walk-off thriller.
Oscar Colas left after being hit, John Parke had a solid start, and Erick Hernandez and Loidel Chapelli continue to look great in the DSL!
Luis Robert began his rehab assignment in Charlotte, the Dash won in extra innings and the Cannon Ballers walked it off in the 11th inning.
Oscar Colas homered twice, Carlos Perez and Yolbert Sanchez carried the Knights’ offense, and DSL pitcher Gabriel Rodriguez pitched a gem.
Michael Kopech gave the White Sox five strong innings, and Yoan Moncada delivered a clutch RBI late to give the White Sox a 2-1 victory.
In DSL and ACL action, Godwin Bennett drove in two runs, Manuel Veloz looked great on the mound, and Erick Hernandez added a hit in the DSL.
