Saturday’s White Sox-Royals game postponed due to inclement weather

by Joe Binder

Our early season bad luck with Mother Nature continues. The White Sox announced via social media that today’s game against the Royals has been postponed due to inclement weather in the forecast.

The game is expected to be made up as part of a split doubleheader on May 14th, with start times set for 1:10 pm (CT) and 7:10 pm. Both games will be seven-inning regulation games with an extra player allowing to be added for the day.

The team says fans with tickets and parking passes to today’s postponed game will receive credit to their White Sox ticket account. Once tickets become available to future regular season home games, that credit value can then be applied.

With the postponement, the White Sox rotation for the rest of the homestand looks to be the following:

  • Sunday vs. Royals: Dylan Cease
  • Monday vs. Indians: Carlos Rodon
  • Tuesday vs. Indians: Lucas Giolito
  • Wednesday vs. Indians: Dallas Keuchel
  • Thursday vs. Indians: Lance Lynn

Here’s to some better weather for the next five games!
