Grab your calendars and get ready to circle the following dates. This year’s bobblehead schedule has been made official.
Upon originally announcing their promotional items back in February, the White Sox gave us the tentative dates for bobblehead giveaways. Since then, the team ended up inadvertently leaking the bobbleheads several days ago and have since confirmed which players will be featured on the specified dates.
Saturday, April 16 vs. Rays, 1:10 p.m. CDT
The first bobblehead of the season has everyone’s favorite Aussie as the centerpiece. Liam Hendriks, complete with the Southside City Connect uniform, is featured giving his signature yell. The first 20,000 fans at the gates will receive this item, presented by Constellation.
Saturday, May 14th vs. Yankees, 6:10 p.m. CDT
One of the biggest home games of the season calls for the Sox’ very best. Though predictable, the White Sox will be giving away a Tim Anderson bobblehead to commemorate his iconic Field of Dreams walk-off homer vs. New York this past August. The first 20,000 fans in attendance will receive this item, presented by Wintrust.
Saturday, June 25th vs. Orioles, 1:10 p.m. CDT
The hilarious moment where Luis Robert seemingly took a flyball from Eloy Jimenez is getting the bobblehead treatment. The first 20,000 fans in attendance will receive this item, presented by NBC Sports Chicago. Peep the Gold Glove on Robert, too.
Monday, July 4th vs. Twins, 7:10 p.m. CDT
Captain Konerko donning the ’83 uniforms and shield is here for America’s holiday. The item will accompany the postgame fireworks to celebrate Minnesota’s loss. Only the first 12,000 fans in attendance will get this beauty, so get there early for what will surely be a packed house.
Saturday, July 23rd vs. Guardians, 6:15 p.m. CDT
Why do we like Yaz? Because he gets on base and now his own bobblehead. The first 20,000 fans in attendance will receive this item, presented by Guaranteed Rate.
