Meet the Team: Maddie Spagnola

by Maddie Spagnola

Here at Sox On 35th, we boast a talented and passionate group of contributors that provides coverage all year long. To help you get familiar with our staff, we will be rolling out our “Meet the Team” article series throughout the year. In this edition, we get to know Maddie Spagnola.

About Me

My name is Maddie Spagnola and I am from Elgin, IL. In 2022, I graduated from Quincy University where I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and my MBA. I also had the privilege of playing college basketball at QU and one year at Newman University in Wichita, Kansas. Currently, I am living in Quincy where I coach at John Wood Community College and work at a bank. I plan on moving back to Chicago in the near future.

I was born and raised a Chicago sports fan. My love for sports originated when I started watching Derrick Rose in 2008 during his rookie year in Chicago (fulfilled my lifelong dream and met him in 2022). I am an extremely passionate Chicago Bears and White Sox fan – just check my Twitter. One day I’d love to possibly own my own business in the sports world. I am extremely grateful for this opportunity to help write for Sox On 35th and share my passion for this team with everyone.

White Sox Nation, let’s ride.
