White Sox Spring Training Report – February 23, 2019

The White Sox opened their Spring Training action on Saturday against the Dodgers and Athletics in split squad action. Here’s the rundown of the two games:


Game 1: Dodgers 7, White Sox 6

The White Sox mounted a late-game rally after falling behind quickly 4-0, but fell just short of the comeback.


Game 2: Athletics 6, White Sox 5

Yoan Moncada and Seby Zavala both banged out two hits in the losing effort. Jordan Guerrero posted a positive start to the Spring.

  • Yoan Moncada (3B): 2-3, 2B, RBI, K
  • Seby Zavala (C): 2-3, 2 R
  • Nick Madrigal (2B): 1-3, K
  • Jordan Guerrero (SP): 2.0 IP, 1 ER, 0 BB, 2 K
  • Randall Delgado (RP): 2.0 IP, 1 ER, 0 BB, 2 K
