High-A Winston Salem Dash (27-43)

The Dash were rained out Thursday. The team will play a doubleheader against the Greensboro Grasshoppers Friday.

Single-A Kannapolis Cannon Ballers (34-38)

After ending their eleven game skid Wednesday, the Ballers picked up their second-straight win Thursday in an extra-inning thriller. Justin Sinibaldi cruised through eight innings, allowing just a single run. The Ballers’ bats, however, only managed one run of their own through nine.

Kannapolis and the Fredericksburg Nationals each scored a pair of runs in the tenth before the Ballers broke through with a four-run eleventh.

Joseph Yabbour earned the win with two shutout innings (the tenth and eleventh).

ACL White Sox (23-17)

Fabian Ysalla impressed again with five innings of two-run ball. Ysalla now owns 1.75 ERA across his first 36 innings playing stateside.

The offense provided plenty of run support, with Adrian Gil reaching base four times, and D’Angelo Tejada recording three hits.

DSL White Sox (8-9)

The DSL Sox spun their first shutout of the season behind 17-year-old Yobal Rodriguez‘s strong start. The young right-hander has opened his career with 14.2 scoreless innings.

Rodriguez also has a miniscule 0.41 WHIP, conceding just four hits and two walks. After Rodriguez departed, 16-year-old Diego Perez struck out five of the six batters he faced.
