White Sox Farm Report: June 25, 2025

Sox affiliates enjoyed a 4-1 day Wednesday, punctuated by the Cannon Ballers snapping their eleven-game losing streak.

Grant Umberger turned in a quality start for Kannapolis, Brooks Baldwin slugged a tenth-inning home run for the Knights, and Mario Camilletti tallied four of the Barons’ 16 hits.

Triple-A Charlotte Knights (37-40)

The Knights scored all four of their runs via the longball. Joshua Palacios launched a two-run homer in the first to give Charlotte a 2-0 lead.

In the tenth, Brooks Baldwin slugged his eleventh home run with the Knights this season to put the team ahead 4-2.

The pitching staff, led by Owen White‘s 4 shutout innings, held the Toledo Mud Hens to three runs.

Double-A Birmingham Barons (39-32)

After being shut out Tuesday, the Barons exploded for eight runs on 16 hits, all singles.

Mario Camilletti led the way with four hits and three RBI, while DJ Gladney tallied three hits and a steal.

On the mound, Zach Franklin fired two scoreless innings to notch a save and lower his ERA to 1.80 on the season.

High-A Winston Salem Dash (27-43)

The Dash, trailing 2-1 in the ninth, mounted a rally to tie the game. After Alex Makarewicz led off with a walk, pinch-runner Jordan Sprinkle stole second and reached third on a sacrifice bunt. Sprinkle scored on a Wilber Sánchez single to knot the game at 2.

Jack Young impressed in his Winston-Salem debut with 2 innings of shutout ball. Young punched out a pair of Greensboro Grasshoppers during his outing.

Single-A Kannapolis Cannon Ballers (33-38)

Grant Umberger played stopper for Kannapolis, putting an end to the team’s eleven-game losing streak. Umberger bounced back with a nine-strikeout quality start after struggling in his last appearance.

T.J. McCants put the Ballers ahead in the first with his first home run of the year, and the team held on the rest of the way.

ACL White Sox (21-17)

A pitcher’s duel in Arizona quickly turned into a slugfest. The ACL Sox led the ACL Brewers 1-0 after four innings before the teams combined for 19 runs over the final three frames.

Sox’ batters wore five hit-by-pitches and stole six bases in the six-run victory.

DSL White Sox (7-9)

The DSL Sox had the day off. The team plays the DSL Tigers on Thursday.
