The DSL White Sox were the lone affiliate in action on Monday, and they took home an 8-7 win over the DSL Blue Jays Blue. Samuel Luis and Nestor Perez drew back-to-back walks in the bottom of the seventh inning for a literal walk-off win.
The Sox trailed 5-0 after two innings, but mounted a furious comeback by scoring four runs in the sixth and two in the seventh. Every starter reached base in the win, despite just four picking up hits.
Those hits included Sebastian Romero‘s ninth home run of the season — a two-run shot — and a Felix Lebron bases-clearing double that brought the Sox within one.
