White Sox Farm Report: July 2, 2025

Starting pitchers performed well Wednesday, combining for a 3.46 ERA. Despite this, only the Knights and Dash got into the win column.

Colson Montgomery sent Knights fans home happy with a walk-off single, Caleb Bonemer and Jeral Perez each homered, and Grant Umberger tallied six shutout innings for the Ballers.

Triple-A Charlotte Knights (41-42)

Colson Montgomery stole the show in Charlotte with a walk-off single. Mike Clevinger kept the Knights in the game, allowing three runs over 5.1 innings. Jared Shuster fired a clean frame in his first rehab appearance, and Wikelman González ran his record to 6-0.

Double-A Birmingham Barons (41-36)

Despite Jake Palisch‘s seven-inning quality start, the Barons dropped Wednesday’s game against the Chattanooga Lookouts 3-2. Rikuu Nishida and Caden Connor each had a pair of hits in the loss.

High-A Winston Salem Dash (29-47)

The Dash split a doubleheader against the Hub City Spartanburgers. In game one, Jeral Perez launched his 14th homer of the season, while the bullpen covered 6.1 innings without allowing a run to deliver the 6-4 victory.

The bats fell silent in game two, stifling Christian Oppor‘s ten-strikeout start. Sam Antonacci had the only Winston-Salem hit.

Single-A Kannapolis Cannon Ballers (36-41)

Grant Umberger spun six shutout innings for the Ballers, but the team failed to hang on to a narrow 1-0 lead. Caleb Bonemer brought Kannapolis within two with his sixth home run of the season in the eighth, but that was as close as the Ballers got.

ACL White Sox (25-19)

The ACL Sox had the day off. They’re back in action against the ACL Dodgers Thursday.


DSL White Sox (10-11)

The DSL Sox also enjoyed an off-day. They take on the DSL Blue Jays Blue Thursday.
