White Sox Farm Report: April 21, 2026

Sox affiliates were a Knights’ loss away from a perfect day, with the Barons, Dash, and Cannon Ballers all emerging victorious in Tuesday’s games.

The Ballers scored 7 in the bottom of the ninth to win a wild one, David Sandlin and Matthew Boughton made their first appearances for the organization, and Caleb Bonemer, Jacob Gonzalez, and Colby Shelton were among those to leave the park.

Triple-A Charlotte Knights (9-12)

The Knights dropped an early contest, 5-1, to the Nashville Sounds. Jacob Gonzalez drove in the only run with a solo homer, while Rikuu Nishida recorded three hits out of the leadoff spot.

Ben Peoples fired two scoreless frames out of the bullpen and has yet to allow an earned run in 12.0 innings this season.

Double-A Birmingham Barons (7-9)

Birmingham scored early and often en route to an 8-5 win. The Barons tagged Riverside-Brookfield graduate Owen Murphy for 7 runs in the first three innings and cruised to victory from there.

Jeral Perez and Adam Fogel each went deep, while Alec Makarewicz continued his hot start in AA with a double and a steal.

High-A Winston-Salem Dash (11-5)

The Dash, powered by back-to-back first-inning home runs from Caleb Bonemer and Colby Shelton, jumped out to a 4-0 lead against the Hub City Spartanburgers. The Spartanburgers chipped away at the lead, but the Dash hung on 4-3.

David Sandlin made his first appearance for the organization, striking out 4 over two scoreless innings in his rehab.

Single-A Kannapolis Cannon Ballers (5-11)

Trailing 7-1 entering the bottom of the 9th, the Ballers mounted a furious comeback to take Tuesday’s game 8-7. The team rapped out seven hits in the frame, including 2025 11th-round pick Matthew Boughton’s first with the organization.

Javier Mogollon sent the crowd home happy, driving in the winning run with a ground ball single to left.
