White Sox Farm Report: April 11 and 12, 2026

by Tim Moran
6 minutes read

Amidst the exciting news of star LHP Noah Schultz being called up to the big leagues and rumors of the same for IF/OF Sam Antonacci, other Sox prospects still shone over the weekend. Namely, Tanner McDougal had another excellent start in Triple-A while a pair of Double-A Barons outfielders excelled: Samuel Zavala and Braden Montgomery.

McDougal went six strong innings, recording eight punchouts and allowing just four baserunners. Zavala, still just 21 years old, continued his hot start with a homer, two singles (one being a walk-off), and two walks over the weekend. Montgomery, conversely, shook off his cold start with a two-homer outburst on Sunday, one being back-to-back with Zavala.

Everson Pereira homered in Charlotte in his first at-bat back from a minor ankle sprain, while fellow Opening Day starter Shane Smith yielded three runs in four innings in his first start since demotion. Importantly, though, Smith allowed just one walk, an encouraging sign for his command.

Elsewhere on the farm, Caleb Bonemer (High-A) and Jaden Fauske (Low-A) each reached base twice in both of their games over the weekend. Bonemer’s teammate Anthony DePino kept rolling with a homer and a base knock on Sunday. Over in Double-A, right-hander Shane Murphy is on the hunt for another sub-2 ERA in 2026, notching a six-inning, zero-run outing.

All this and more in this weekend’s farm report!
