Spring Training Report: Robert, Eaton, Jimenez Debut in 4-4 Tie

by Noah Phalen

The spring debuts of Luis Robert, Adam Eaton, and Eloy Jimenez lead to a 5-inning tie between the Sox and Angels on Monday. Early runs for the Angels, followed by a fourth-inning rally for the White Sox were the stories of today’s ballgame.

Luis Robert: 1-3, 2B, RBI

Adam Eaton: 1-1, HBP, SF, RBI

After trailing 4-0 early, the White Sox offense put together a 4-run rally in the fourth inning to tie the game. Luis Robert smacked his first hit of the spring with an RBI double to left-center. RBI’s by Adam Eaton, Matt Reynolds, and Micker Adolfo helped fuel the good guys’ rally. Minor-League signee Nick Williams got a hit in his first AB of the spring.
