Meet the Team: Thatcher Zalewski

by Thatcher Zalewski

Here at Sox On 35th, we boast a talented and passionate group of contributors that provides coverage all year long. To help you get familiar with our staff, we will be rolling out our “Meet the Team” article series throughout the offseason. In this edition, we get to know our Thatcher Zalewski.

About Me

Hey everyone! My name is Thatcher Zalewski, and I am from Bensenville, IL, but I currently reside in Peoria, IL. I have been a die-hard White Sox fan for as long as I can remember. My friends are all Cubs fans, so I always have been the lone ranger on the South Side.

I have been a part of Sox On 35th since the fall of 2021. Joining Sox On 35th was sort of a dream come true, as I was a big fan of the page’s work before coming on board. Analytics have become a big part of fandom, and so if you read some of my more in-depth articles, they will most likely include some form of analytics.

Currently, I am a freshman at Bradley University studying Sports Communication with an eventual minor in Business Analytics. At Bradley, I am also a founding member of the Sports Analytics Club.

Over the past few years, I have enjoyed my interactions with everyone on Sox Twitter and appreciate everyone who checks out my work. I’m always looking for feedback or discussion on my articles, so feel free to respond. I am looking forward to a hopefully better 2023 season to continue to share my work with you all!
