CHSN has finally made it to Comcast Xfinity.
The network made the carriage announcement official on Friday morning after numerous reporters revealed the development earlier in the week. For those in the Chicagoland area, CHSN can now be found on channel 200 through Comcast’s Xfinity Ultimate TV package.
“On behalf of the entire CHSN team, we’re proud to welcome Comcast’s Xfinity TV customers to a network built exclusively for Chicago sports fans,” said Jason Coyle, President of Chicago Sports Network. “With more than 300 live Bulls, Blackhawks, and White Sox games each year, along with original programming that highlights Chicago’s pro, college, and high school sports, CHSN delivers the most comprehensive and locally focused coverage available. This deal allows us to reach even more fans across the city and suburbs, deepen connections, and reinforce CHSN as the home for Chicago sports all day, every day.”
“We are excited to bring the White Sox, Bulls, and Blackhawks to fans across the region with the launch of CHSN for Xfinity TV and Comcast Business customers,” said Chris Smith, Senior Vice President, Comcast Greater Chicago Region.
Laurence Holmes of 670 The Score first reported the news on Wednesday night, with others confirming the development shortly after. It’s the final development in the ongoing negotiations between the two parties that left many upset that a carriage agreement couldn’t be reached sooner.
For those who don’t already have it, Xfinity’s Ultimate tier will cost an additional $20 per month. However, existing customers have been receiving a monthly credit of $8.85 to offset the loss of NBC Sports Chicago, the team’s former home.
CHSN also offers direct-to-consumer subscriptions for internet customers via CHSN.com, the CHSN app (iOS and Android), and connected TV platforms including Roku, Apple TV, Google TV, Amazon Fire TV, and Samsung Smart TVs. Plans start at $19.99/month for one team, or $29.99/month for all three.
CHSN launched in October 2024 and is in its first full season broadcasting the White Sox.

Again, this deal is a joke… just like all things Reinsdorf!!!! He and cast of morons, were forced to take the deal Comcast gave them. It’s the same deal Comcast offered last year.
Ebenezer Reinsdorf launched that joke known as Chicago Sports Network. No one with common sense was going to pony what he was, OVER CHARGING! And, Reinsdorf would not provide subscription numbers….
Both the Bulls and Sox are in shambles. And now, if you want to watch…. You have to pony up to Comcast’s most expensive tier. At least the Cubs Marquee Network if offered on Comcast’s basic tier. That alone tells you Cubs at least guarantee some profit for coverage.
Like a vast majority have done, I cut the cord about 6-7 years ago. Why on earth would I ever consider going back to cable. They offer nothing I want, that I cannot obtain via my Roku streaming device.
MLB, needs to wake up and face the music already!!! The time has come to open their MLB streaming platform for ALL GAMES!!!! NO MORE BLACKOUTS!!!! Do what NFL Prime-Ticket does. Let the fans, stream any game they want and not worry about any B/S.
Cable and satellite are dead…. And if MLB wants to survive, it better adapt.
