Angels 7, White Sox 0: Colas posts two hits in shutout

by Sox On 35th Contributors

The White Sox played their second game of the spring today against the Angels, with the same results as their first. The theme of the day: rough outings for pitchers.

Both Tanner Banks and Jimmy Lambert struggled in their spring debuts, combining to give up all seven of the Angels’ runs. The Halos, however, did not have this same issue, as their pitching staff held a lineup full of White Sox depth pieces to just five hits in two hours and 36 minutes of baseball.

One lone bright spot was Oscar Colas, who had two hits at the plate.

W: Reid Detmers (1-0) L: Tanner Banks (0-1)
