2026 White Sox Promotional Giveaways: Full Grades and Ranking

by Joe Binder
10 minutes read

The White Sox kicked off the first night of SoxFest Live with one of the year’s biggest announcements. While it didn’t involve the club’s first $100M free agent signing, they did the next best thing – releasing the 2026 promotional schedule.

The bar was certainly set after a loaded 2025 calendar, but the White Sox marketing team followed up nicely, introducing several must-have giveaways. After looking through them all, our crew offered their grades to determine the best of the best.

The following Sox On 35th members contributed to every item’s overall score by grading on a scale of 1-10:

  • Joe Binder
  • Jordan Lazowski
  • Nik Gaur
  • Brett Haffner
  • Tommy Gross
  • Carson Kass

We’ve also incorporated a poll under each promo to get your scores as well.

Let’s get started!

Opening Day T-Shirt

Thursday, April 2 vs. Blue Jays | First 20,000 fans

The White Sox begin the year with a t-shirt giveaway for the first 20,000 fans at the home opener. The front features guys like Colson Montgomery, Kyle Teel, and Munetaka Murakami, along with a “Feel the Momentum” tagline — which hopefully doesn’t come back to haunt us. The back has just the 2026 home schedule, so I guess it’s useful if you ever need a quick reminder of when the team’s in town.

All in all, it’s a good generic giveaway to get things going, and many fans seem to dig it.

  • Highest Score: Nik, 9.0
  • Lowest Score: Joe, 4.6
  • Overall Score: 6.9
  • Power Ranking: 13 of 18

Colson Montgomery Hooded Tank

Saturday, April 4 vs. Tigers | First 15,000 fans

The second giveaway of the homestand is this Colson Montgomery hooded tank. The actual quality remains to be seen, but the design has been appealing to the right audience. I’ll be the first to admit I’ve never really gotten the point of a hooded tank, especially this one where the hood covers the name when down, but to each their own.

Our team’s split reviews have this promo falling on the lower end of the ranking.

  • Highest Score: Jordan, 9.3
  • Lowest Score: Joe, 0.5
  • Overall Score: 6.4
  • Power Ranking: 15 out of 18

Jenks & A.J. Celebration Bobblehead

Sunday, April 5 vs. Tigers | First 10,000 fans

The White Sox leave no doubt with this bobblehead. It’s our crew’s unanimous favorite, earning a perfect grade across the board. Make sure to get in line early if you’re hoping to take home this special tribute to our beloved closer! It will definitely put the gate personnel to an early test.

Miguel Vargas Bobblehead

Friday, April 24 vs. Nationals | First 10,000 fans

Miggy is one of five active players getting a bobblehead this season, with this item going to the first 10,000 fans. There’s nothing especially unique about the design, though the City Connect uniform is a nice touch for a Friday night giveaway. It gets decent ratings all around, though the bobbleheads to come scored higher.

  • Highest Score: Tommy, 8.0
  • Lowest Score: Joe, 6.5
  • Overall Score: 7.2
  • Power Ranking: 12 out of 18

’90s City Connect Jacket

Saturday, April 25 vs. Nationals | First 15,000 fans 21+

This was our team’s third-most popular item, earning perfect scores from both Carson and Tommy. The jacket features a mix of logos from the City Connect 2.0s, giving this ’90s-style windbreaker a classic, retro look. It’s a great addition to any fan’s wardrobe, especially during that transition into summer.

  • Highest Score: Carson & Tommy, 10.0
  • Lowest Score: Nik, 7.0
  • Overall Score: 8.9

Women’s Athleisure Jacket

Saturday, May 9 vs. Mariners | First 15,000 fans

Courtney Finnicum summed it up best on X: the addition of women’s items is a welcome change to this year’s promo schedule. The “White Sox” logo on the right-facing chest, along with the white piping down the front give this jacket a sleek look, earning solid ratings from the crew.

Chase Meidroth Bobblehead

Monday, May 25 vs. Twins | First 10,000 fans

Next up is Chase Meidroth’s bobblehead. The face might look nothing like him, but his signature hustle and lucious flow help sell it. Brett especially loved this offering, pushing the combined grade nearly a full point higher than Miggy’s.

  • Highest Score: Brett, 9.1
  • Lowest Score: Joe & Tommy, 7.0
  • Overall Score: 8.1
  • Power Ranking: 7 of 18

Kyle Teel & Edgar Quero Bobblehead

Saturday, May 30 vs. Tigers | First 15,000 fans 21+

If it weren’t for the Jenks and A.J. bobblehead, this one would easily top the list. The unique design earned the second-highest score from our team and even got a perfect mark from Carson. Hopefully, MySoxSummer saves a few for the rest of us because this is one of the year’s coolest giveaways.

  • Highest Score: Carson, 10.0
  • Lowest Score: Nik & Tommy, 9.0

Homies Big Head Figure

Friday, June 12 vs. Dodgers | First 10,000 fans

The White Sox kick off their series against the Dodgers with a first-of-its-kind giveaway. This special collab celebrates the Chicano culture by highlighting neighborhood identity and community pride. It will go to just the first 10,000 fans in what should be a Friday-night sellout.

  • Highest Score: Nik, 8.0
  • Lowest Score: Carson, Jordan & Tommy, 7.0

Colson Montgomery Bobblehead

Saturday, June 13 vs. Dodgers | First 15,000 fans

Fans have asked for a Colson Montgomery bobblehead, and the White Sox delivered. The shortstop is captured mid-home run swing, rocking his chain and the City Connects. The only thing that would make this giveaway even sweeter? Colson taking Shohei Ohtani deep in front of the Saturday crowd.

  • Highest Score: Brett, 8.5
  • Lowest Score: Tommy, 7.0
  • Sox On 35th Score: 7.9
  • Power Ranking: 8 of 18

America’s 250th Homage T-Shirt

Saturday, June 27 vs. Royals | First 15,000 Fans

Genuine question: has Homage ever missed on a t-shirt design? This is another example of their fine work, with a clever spin on the nation’s 250th birthday. Our crew gave it respectable scores across the board, putting it in the middle of the pack for giveaways.

  • Highest Score: Tommy, 9.0
  • Lowest Score: Carson, 5.0
  • Overall Score: 7.4

Mexican Heritage Jersey

Friday, July 10 vs. A’s | First 15,000 fans

Mexican Heritage Night should have the most electric atmosphere all season, and will be the one game I plan a trip around this summer. Sadly, I’m not really vibing with this year’s jersey, and neither is the rest of our team. To be fair, last year’s design might have been the best one yet, which probably makes our grades here a bit harsher than usual.

  • Highest Score: Brett, 7.2
  • Lowest Score: Joe, 6.2
  • Overall Score: 6.8
  • Power Ranking: 14 of 18

City Connect Warmup

Friday, July 25 vs. Astros | First 15,000 fans

The White Sox are making the most of the City Connect 2.0s in their sophomore season, using them in yet another giveaway design. This looks like a shirt Uncle Buck could’ve worn to the bowling alley, leading to mixed reviews from our team. Brett and Nik helped boost the overall score with above-average grades, while the rest of us had it lower on our list.

  • Highest Score: Brett, 8.6
  • Lowest Score: Joe, 2.1
  • Overall Score: 6.2

Wooden Domino Set

Saturday, August 22 vs. Mets | First 10,000 fans

The White Sox will hand out these dominoes to the first 10,000 fans on Puerto Rican Heritage Night. It’s a step down from the jersey offered during last year’s Heritage Night, leading to the second-lowest score of any item on the calendar.

  • Highest Grade: Nik, 7.0
  • Lowest Grade: Carson, 2.5
  • Sox On 35th Grade: 6.2
  • Power Ranking: 17 of 18

Finance Bro Vest

Saturday, September 5 vs. Twins | First 15,000 fans

Bring back the vests! Oh, wait … not like this.

As Nik put it, these are nice if you’re into the finance bro aesthetic, so it should get all the Chads, Brads, and Jordan Lazowskis out to the park. As for the rest of us? We’ll be enjoying an extra drink at Cork since there’s no rush getting through the gates for this one. At least the logo they used is cool, so kudos for that.

  • Highest Grade: Jordan, 8.5
  • Lowest Grade: Carson, 0.5
  • Sox On 35th Grade: 4.4
  • Power Ranking: 18 of 18

Irish Quarter Zip

Sunday, September 19 vs. Tigers | First 15,000 fans 21+

Halfway to St. Paddy’s Day is always a fan favorite, and this year’s giveaway easily beats out last year’s hockey jersey. The green plaid collar and Sox logo inside the shamrock make for a super clean quarter zip. Maybe we’ll eventually get that elusive Manny Ramirez green pinstripe jersey, but for now, these will certainly do.

  • Highest Grade: Jordan, 9.9
  • Lowest Grade: Nik, 8.0
  • Sox On 35th Grade: 8.8
  • Power Ranking: 4 of 18

Los White Sox Poncho

Friday, September 25 vs. Rockies | First 15,000 fans

The Los White Sox poncho is a sneaky, awesome giveaway for Hispanic Heritage Night. It’s been generating plenty of buzz on social media and earned nothing lower than an eight from our crew, pushing it into the upper tier of this year’s promos.

  • Highest Grade: Joe, 9.3
  • Lowest Grade: Nik & Tommy, 8.0
  • Sox On 35th Grade: 8.7
  • Power Ranking: 5 of 18

City Connect Crewneck

Saturday, September 26 vs. Rockies | First 15,000 fans

The White Sox close out their promotional calendar with a bang during the final homestand. This City Connect Crewneck features the double socks “South Side” logo across the chest and the beautiful red Rate arrow on the sleeve. Even though the game won’t feature the two most exciting teams in the league, this giveaway should make going worth it.

  • Highest Grade: Jordan, 9.8
  • Lowest Grade: Tommy, 7.0
  • Sox On 35th Grade: 8.3
