In other news, a pair of White Sox prospects were selected to this year’s Premier12 tournament team to play for USA Baseball. Andrew Vaughn (INF) and Tyler Johnson (RHP) will be repping the South Side in Guadalajara, Mexico from November 2-4, 2019. The U.S. will be part of Group A in this tournament, which is the first chance for Team USA to qualify for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. The two top nations from Group A will advance to the Super Round, which will take place in Tokyo, Japan from November 11-16.
